Fine Regalia Textile Workshop with Morgan Asoyuf Carving on the edge festival

Join Morgan Asoyuf and the Carving on the Edge Festival for this free hands-on workshop exploring fine regalia and textile work through a Northwest Coast design approach.

In this session, participants will work with pre-cut formline shapes and learn how to apply them through sewing techniques used in regalia and contemporary textile pieces. Morgan will guide you through process, placement, and attention to detail, sharing knowledge that connects design, material, and making.

This workshop is an opportunity to step into the process of creating wearable or textile-based art, while gaining insight into the care and intention behind regalia work.

A few sewing machines will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer working on it.
