Join WildSafeBC and guest speakers for a FREE public wildlife deterring workshop!
What's a deterring workshop? I'm glad you asked. Deterring wildlife is important to learn, not just once, but practice. This workshop will introduce some ways to prevent wildlife confrontations altogether, but also what to do if it does happen. Some call it "hazing", we call it communicating with wildlife and setting appropriate boundaries. Teaching wildlife humans are not safe can save their life.
WildSafeBC will answer questions like:
- What should I have with me on a walk?
- How do I de-escalate an encounter with wildlife?
- When do I need to aggressively deter wildlife?
- Who do I call after an encounter?
Learn all this and more at Big Beach (gazebo) in Ucluelet on April 22nd 3:00PM for Earth Day! Keep Earth's critters safe and healthy now and into the future.
