In partnership with Ucluelet Secondary School (USS), the Legacy of Hope Foundation, Tourism Tofino, and Canadian Heritage, the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust is hosting its annual exhibit in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Throughout the month, students from USS are exploring the history and impact of the Canadian Indian Residential School System. Students are also putting together a poetry book, orange shirts, research projects, and investigations into the 94 Calls to Action. These artifacts of learning will be featured at the event, alongside the Legacy of Hope Foundation’s mobile exhibition, "Youth on Reconciliation – Imagine A Canada".
