The Art of Salve Making - January 2024

In this hands-on class, instructor Cass Hale will lead us through the basic skills for making salves which offer soothing and healing benefits to the skin. Learn what ingredients are needed and how to choose which plants to use. Participants will make and take home 4 prepared salves, as well as a jar of infused oil, recipes, plant profiles, and the skills needed for future projects!

Cass has been making and creating herbal magic for over a dozen years. Her deep knowledge comes from previously running a successful bath and body company, leading workshops, and completing courses and a certification in herbalism. Cass is inspired by the great joy of sharing her passion with others.

Tofino Community Hall and Kitchen.

Time:

5 - 7pm

Prerequisite:

There are no prerequisites. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the workshop.

Health and Safety Policy:

West Coast NEST is committed to hosting a safe, equitable and inclusive event. Discriminatory behaviours will not be tolerated and anyone displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave the event. No refunds will be issued if a participant is asked to leave.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will be accepted within 7 days of the date of purchase until January 20th, 2024. Refunds will be issued for the ticket cost, less the Eventbrite fees determined by Eventbrite, and a 10% administration fee. No refunds will be issued after January 20th, 2024. If we must cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances all registrants will receive a full refund regardless of the date.
