SUP Instructor Course: Advanced Flatwater - July 2020
Learn the skills to become a SUP paddle instructor on the waters around Tofino BC. This is an entry level course to paddleboard instruction.
Outline:
Become a Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater Instructor and teach your own Paddle Canada Courses or instruct with a local paddleboard school. This is an advanced level Paddle Canada certification with a focus on coastal navigation and leading full day stand up paddleboarding tours in more exposed paddling conditions.
Included in course:
-Expert instruction form with a focus on decision making, guiding techniques, and rescue scenarios.
-Lesson planning tools.
-Wetsuit and paddleboard if needed.
Extra:
-Paddle Canada Membership is not included ($99, and must be completed before this course begins. Course #70820)
Not included:
-Accommodation, transportation, food.
Prerequisites:
Ability to perform Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater Skills or equivalent paddleboarding experience.
Instructor candidates must register for a Paddle Canada Membership to be a Paddle Canada instructor.
