Standard First Aid and CPR-C recertification - October 2017
In this one-day recertification course, you will refresh and practice your first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills so you are prepared to respond to emergencies at work or at home. The certification is valid for 3 years.
Outline:
This course teaches first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).
This is a recertification, for those who already have Standard First-Aid with CPR-C but need to extend their current certification another 3 years.
The class runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Prerequisites:
Participants must already hold a valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
