SKILS Paddle Canada Level 1 - May 2018
Gain the skills to get on to the water, paddle through varied waters, and self rescue after a capsize. This kayak course will equip you with techniques for safe and effective paddling.
Outline:
Learn and practise what you need to get out on the water today. This two day practical introductory program covers all the basics of getting onto and off the water, controlling your kayak, and recovering from a capsize. All this in a relaxed and fun environment. SKILS provides all the kayaks, paddling accessories, and experienced staff.
This program is based on the National sea kayaking program established by Paddle Canada. This course meets and exceeds the Paddle Canada Level 1 Skills training and assessment.
