SKGABC Level 1 (Day) Guide - June 3-7 2020
SKGABC Level 1 Guides are trained to lead day trips in sheltered waters.
Outline:
Participants will review a wide range of basic boat handling and rescue skills, record and interpret the weather, navigate by piloting, and refine group leadership, communication, and safety management skills. Our course is accredited by the SKGABC, and includes the Level 1 Guide Exam. Successful candidates can upgrade to Assistant Overnight Guide with our AOG Upgrade course.
Prerequisites:
Previous paddling and camping experience.
Course fee:
$775 (+ an optional $90 for Camping at Surf Junction Campground for the nights of June 2nd - 6th.)
