Certified by the SKGABC (sea kayak guide alliance of BC).

This course focuses on building the practical skills, leadership abilities, and expedition awareness needed to assist on overnight trips in Level 1, 2 and 3 waters.

Throughout the course, participants develop key competencies, including:

❖ Expedition planning and logistics
❖ Camp setup, kitchen systems, and food management
❖ Group care and guest experience on multi-day trips
❖ Risk assessment and decision-making in overnight settings
❖ Rescue skills and on-water support techniques

The AOG course is ideal for those looking to begin working on overnight guided tours or to strengthen their expedition skill set.
