Oil Techniques Art Workshop - September 2022

Join renowned artist Efren Gonzalez for a three-day workshop learning oil techniques from a master of his craft. 

Efren Gonzalez was born in Ajijic on Lake Chapala, Mexico, and is a prodigious painter in all media, particularly in oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic.

Efren is equally well known as a painter on canvas as well as a muralist, having completed his first intricate mural in the 90s and many more since. One of the few Ajijic-born artists, Efren was inspired and taught by the local Neil James Art Education Program during his childhood before becoming a full-time painter.

Efren’s paintings depict the things he sees in everyday life—the colorful people and landscapes of his beloved Mexico.
