Outline:

Nuu-chah-nulth youth will learn a lot in this two day workshop. Harvesting and preparation techniques for various shellfish, salmon, groundfish and other delicious Nuu-chah-nulth seafoods will be taught.

This is important training for those interested in a career in aquatic resources and/or to participate in a food fishery.

This workshop involves travel by boat. A waiver needs to be signed by a guardian of the participant if they are under 18 years of age.

Prerequisites:

This workshop is open to all Nuu-chah-nulth youth, particularily those aged 15 or older with a valid SIN.
