Join Nature Kids for fun in the sun and sand! Stories, songs, wilderness skills and crafts. Make new friends, play games, laugh and learn. Each day will bring new activities & adventures. Games will focus on confidence building, teamwork and FUN!

Outline:

Tofino Nature Kids Beach Days take place at North Chesterman Beach. Children can sign up for individual days or by the week. Drop in spaces daily dependent on availability. Please call to confirm.

Three groups are available: Wrens (age 3 yrs), Otters (ages 4-8), and Wolves (ages 9-12). Wrens, Otters, and Wolves will be together for many activities throughout the day, with groups also spending some time separate based on age and skill level.

Wrens (age 3 yrs): 9:30 - 12:00 (Children must be fully potty trained.)

Otters (age 4-8) & Wolves (age 9-12):

Half Day 9:30 - 2:30

Full Day 8:30 - 4:30

COST:

WRENS: $20/day or $90/wk

OTTERS & WOLVES:

Half Day $40/day or $180/wk

Full Day $64/day or $288/wk

*Early drop off is available for WRENS. Early drop off and late pick up is available for half day OTTERS & WOLVES at $8/hr

DROP-IN: $10/hr limited hourly/daily spaces

Prerequisites:

The whole day is spent outside in the summer. Please consider if your child will be comfortable in an outdoor learning environment. Your family must be committed to ensuring your child is suitably dressed and fully prepared for the weather every day. There is covered space for especially soggy times or special projects and events. The program has only invisible walls, and therefore are not suitable for children who are prone to uninhibited "wandering".
