Location of the course:
Clayoquot Sound

Outline:

This kayak fishing expedition takes place in Clayoquot Sound, a sea kayaker’s paradise, famous for its secluded long, and spectacular sandy beaches and old-growth forests. This temperate coastal rainforest provides an important refuge and habitat for a significant number of animals including Bald Eagles, Wolves, Ospreys, Humpback Whales, and Gray Whales. On this expedition, participants will be mostly focusing on Coho Salmon, as well as Chinook Salmon, Lingcod, and Rockfish.

The trip begins with a water taxi from Tofino to SKILS's remote campsite on a beautiful sandy beach located near fantastic fishing spots. After four days of fishing from kayaks and being fed wonderful meals adapted to your diet, the water taxi will bring the group back to Tofino.
