Join instructor Michael Nickels, from the Seven Ravens Permaculture Academy on Saltspring Island, at this 5-day introduction to permaculture design workshop on Vargas Island.

Students will learn step-by-step concepts to build a home-scale permaculture garden though discussing and implementing rainwater catchments systems, water storage, composting, plant propagation, fruit tree growing, wildcrafting and so much more!

Each participant will leave the course with a brand-new pair of Swiss Felco pruners, a copy of Bill Mollison’s Introduction to Permaculture, a printed course outline inside a comprehensive binder with over 100 pages of information, and the confidence and skills to create self-sufficient gardens of their own!

Vargas Island is a remote island near Tofino BC, in Clayoqout Sound. This course is all inclusive so the cost of the course includes your transport to and from the island, accommodation, and meals.
