Introduction to Carpentry - November 2017

Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nation, Toquaht Nation, and North Island College are offering a 3-week Taste of Trades: carpentry course. By participating in this course, students will learn fundamental carpentry skills and gain the practical experience necessary for a successful start to working in the carpentry trade. Technical and work-site safety skills will be taught and there will be a lot of hands-on practice using work-ready tools and equipment.

The course will be held at the Hitacu Firehall from Monday to Thursday 9am - 4pm for 3 weeks from November 20 - December 7, 2017. (Please note the course dates have changed from October 23 - November 9, 2017).
