Hospice 101 workshop
Caring and compassionate community members are encouraged to join the Pacific Rim Hospice Society for this day-long workshop and learn about hospice and how they can play a supportive role in communities.

Outline:
Are you interested in learning how to support family, friends, and community members at a time of grief and loss? Join Pacific Rim Hospice Society and learn to communicate effectively and compassionately, learn what values are important to you, and what one experiences during grief. There will also be a brief introduction to death and dying.
The event will be held from 10am - 4pm and the location is to be determined.
The workshop cost is $20 ($10 for society members).
