Tide to Table Freedivers Package - April 2022
Outline:
*Course dates are April 5, 6, 12 & 13 online. April 21, 22, 23, 24 in-person*
Learn proper and safe Freediving Techniques from a PFI Professional in the 'PFI Freediver' course.
Combine those skills and learn about local marine life, harvesting rules and regulations, risk management and valuable techniques and skillsets (including band-powered device handling) in Bottom Dweller's 'Freedive-Harvesting Course'.
Upon completing this course package you’ll end your Tide to Table Experience on the final day with a Boat Charter Freedive-Harvesting Adventure guided by Bottom Dwellers Freediving. As a guided group you’ll set out to harvest in the local waters surrounding Tofino where you’ll return that afternoon to have the incredible staff at the 1909 Kitchen prepare and serve you your catch and harvest over a final group dinner at Tofino Resort and Marina.

*Schedule is subject to change during course weekend due to weather and scheduling constraints. As a student, you are requested to be available to allow for such changes needed with the group.
Online Academic Sessions via Zoom will occur prior to your course weekend and are mandatory to be completed along with your e-learning before any in-water training may occur.

Freedive-Harvesting Academics: APR 5*/6* - 6pm-9pm
Freediver Academics: 12*/13* - 6pm-9pm
APR 21st: Classroom: 8am-10am (TRM) Freediver Refresher/ 11am-5pm (Kennedy Lake) Confined Water 1 & Safety Scenarios
APR 22nd: 8am-5pm(Kennedy Lake): Confined Water 2 / Open Water 1 / Freedive-Harvesting Practical
APR 23rd: 8am-12p Open Water 2 by Boat @ TRM / 1pm-2pm Freedive Harvesting Planning and Refresher
APR 24th: Freedive-Harvesting Charter 7am-12pm / 5pm Evening Tide to Table Experience @ 1909 Kitchen
