Cedar Coast Youth Empowerment Camp - July 2022
Cedar Coast Field Station is excited to welcome campers to Vargas Island for six nights and seven days, to explore and connect with nature in a variety of ways!
Outline:
Youth aged 13-15 are invited to join Cedar Coast Field Station for a week on Vargas Island, with a focus on empowerment through trying new things. Our experienced staff will lead campers through leadership and personal development workshops, all while enjoying the area through activities including surfing, hatchet throwing, snorkeling, a camping trip, and more!
Camp Overview:

Camp Activities:
- Overnight camping trip
- Hatchet throwing

Camp Includes:
- Catered breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
- Accommodation: wall tents on raised cedar platforms with metal roofs, wooden decks, and attached enclosed room
- Supervision and programming from Cedar Coast Field Station Staff and guest educators from the community and local businesses
- Photographs of the campers during camp
- Boast transportation
- Pickup at Nass Food Dock: July 17th, 3 p.m.
- Dropoff at Nass Food Dock: July 23rd, 10 a.m.
