Red Cross Babysitters First Aid

A fun and engaging course offered to youth from 11-15 to help increase their confidence and prepare them as caregivers. Participants will learn how to provide basic care to young children and how to prevent/respond to emergencies.

Learning topics will include: 

- General babysitting practices 

- Changing diapers

- Preparing simple meals 

- Entertaining children of all ages 

- Preventing injuries and creating a safe space 

- Handling emergencies and reacting confidently  

Participants will receive a Red Cross handbook and certification upon successful completion of the course.

The course will take place from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
