Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region BioBlitz 2024
Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region BioBlitz Clayoquot Biosphere Trust

Join the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust on April 20th to celebrate the upcoming Earth Day!

Participate from anywhere within the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region, from your own backyard to your favourite local trail. It’s an excellent opportunity to step outdoors, learn about the amazing biodiversity in the area, and foster a deeper appreciation for our shared planet.

To start, first search for the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region on iNaturalist and select "join" at the top of the project page. All observations will be automatically included in this project if your autogenerated coordinates are within the biosphere region.

This project will help collect baseline information on the diversity of species present within the biosphere region. Observations can help guide research questions, restoration projects, and other conservation initiatives.
