Agenda 2030 and the SDGs for community organizations

Join your community to learn about the United Nation's 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  As we begin to reset and reimagine our future post-COVID19 there is an opportunity to #BuildBackBetter and ensure a future where no one is left behind.

West Coast NEST and Clayoquot Biosphere Trust are hosting a series of workshops open to all community members, governments, organizations, businesses, and local stakeholders, in order to help our region contribute to the Global Goals. Speakers from British Columbia Council for International Cooperation will present an overview of Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, reflect upon Canada’s progress on achieving the 2030 Agenda, provide examples of transformative principles in action, and discuss how the SDGs can be used as a framework for assessing current policies and projects moving forward.
