Join Redd Fish Restoration Society for a clean up of Ha'uukmin Kennedy Flats Back Roads.

Meet up at the Ucluelet-Tofino Junction at 10:00 a.m. for registration, coffee, snacks, and a warm welcome! Volunteers will then head into the backroads to collect all the trash and treasures they can find. Meet back at the West Coast Landfill for prizes and lunch at 2:30 pm.

The event will take place rain or shine, so bring rain gear and gloves. Bags will be available.

Cyanotype is a traditional photo process that uses an iron-based photochemistry and UV light from the sun to create beautiful blue toned prints.

The prints can also be toned to different shades of yellow, brown and deep purple using materials from your kitchen cupboard.

Cost is $25 per person and pre-registration is required.

This performance is one event during the week long Tofino Tree Festival. It is a nature-based performance collaboration co-created by choreographer Julia Taffe, visual artist Sarah Fuller, and music artist Keri Latimer.

Dancers are Julia Carr, Meghan Goodman, and Cara Siu.

Mysterious notes and soaring tones are generated as your hands and fingers dance in the air between two antennae.

This drop-in warm-up and improvisation session prepares participants to be ready. Ready to move, yield, touch, catch, support, deliver weight, and play. Join us for this practice which begins with suggestions for tuning into personal body sensations, responding to environmental stimuli and then activating a communal space and group dance composition.

This course will cover the intertidal and pelagic ecosystems of Barkley & Clayoquot Sound, including seaweeds, invertebrates, and marine mammals (and more!) as well as local oceanographic conditions.  This course will alternate between in person at the Ucluelet Aquarium & online on Wednesday.

From the forest floor to the top of the canopy, you will explore the interactions that occur in our local terrestrial ecosystems and the many species that inhabit them.  Join Barb on a ‘scavenger hunt’ while we explore questions and ideas utilizing the Tonquin & Wild Pacific Trails, session will alternate between  Tofino & Ucluelet!
