Outline:

Join Kimberly Leckey of Sea Woven, a Ucluelet-based fibre arts and macramé artist, for an evening on Zoom (6:30 - 9:00 p.m.) to learn how to create a small macramé wall hanging. Participants will learn the basic knots including Larks Head knot, Square knot, Alternating Square knot, Berry knot, and Diagonal Hitch knot. Bring your favourite (small) piece of driftwood or choose one provided and learn the art of macrame with fibre artist Kim Leckey of Sea Woven. 

Sea Woven will be offering two dates for this course: 

1st course offering: Monday, April 12 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. PST

2nd course offering: Monday, April 26 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. PST

Course includes: 

  • All fibre materials 
  • Driftwood (if required)
  • PDF Worksheet/Instructions
